Good catch on the St. Semmir's; I've added it.

There's no actual difference between Beermaiden and Poxtoberfest Maiden, and neither is there one for Desert Brew and Blacklabel Brew. However, just for clarity's sake, I've noted it in the rune's PoxBase link. Thanks for the feedback!

Dwarven Beermaiden hands out Semmirs Brew and the Limited one hands out Desert Brew/BLB.

Don't let the haters get wind of this, but he's back to auto-include status again. Long live the king! :D

Melee Specialist and Loyalty for 84 seems like a good build.

Fully updated for the new expansion and subsequent April 7th patch. As always, let me know if I missed anything.

Definitely, i'd say dwarfs are the most budget friendly theme in IS.

Master Axeman 63 nora 11dmg 6 speed 2 armor 55 hp base. Holy crap that alone is just wow for a melee. The stats and abilities you are getting for 63 nora is just grand. For your back up dwarven statmonkey I would go with Ironfist Warsaint good grief take a look at those stats with loyalty upgrade. You want a budget support to go with that just add dwarven medics for 42 nora a pop u get heal 3, cleanse, and empathy HOOAH! For range alt dmg I would go with Pontiff of Almara geez illuminate and distract nice 6 range fire dmg. The list goes on and on. Budget to your hearts content.

I'm planning on adding a budget-friendly Dwarf deck to the guide in a day or two. For now, I can safely say that Dwarves definitely have enough options to make a budget deck not only possible but rivaling in strength of the standard meta version.

Hi, as a new player here I really appreciate the work you've put into the guide. Don't see myself jumping into PvP any time soon, but after reading through the list I'll need to take another look at runes that at first glance seemed underwhelming. Thanks!

sadly one of the best dwarves are missing

    Kingmaker
    Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★
Upgrades: has 6 impressive upgrades that are all useful. So get a few Kingmakers to have for different BG's. for start i would go with blockade and bubble. Blockade is so fun to use as an anti-drive/anti-inspiration rune. Bubble gives your target champ 10 extra hp before taking real damage.
blockade, relocate ally, bubble, soften, pilfer or divert.
He gives your next champ majestic. Sure its a little nice feature, but mostly you want the kingmaker for the upgrades.
if you run blink, you can blink him and get a 2nd majestic when he comes back, not worth it for just that but still.

edit: ok lowered to 4★, but its still very useful in a pure dwarf deck. i surely miss him when i play barbarians or constructs.

    He's not 5 star. I'd rate him 3 1/2

Id give him a 4 but he is def leaning closer to 3.5 than 4.5

Why so low? What other support runes for a dwarf deck are superior then Kingmaker? Guess at highranked all players know how he works and focus him out before he can be a gamechanger. For me he is #1 when it comes to support though, i use one with bubble and it has taken a place over healing, and the other with relocate ally. Both with blockade. allthough sometimes i wish i hadnt deployed them, so yeah i should edit my post to 4*. But mostly its because iam not great at position them perfect to be out of harmsway and still be so annoying my opponent gives up.

They're good, solid runes. Fills something dawrves don't have a ton of, and is useful to have around. That said, they don't actually do a huge amount once on field, and aren't auto includes by any means (although I would probably include 1, and maybe 2? I dunno).

5 star is something you include 2x without question, and deploy basically as soon as you reveal. 5 star champs can make a theme. Kingsmaker doesn't fall under this category IMO.

So apparently PoxBase closed down while I was sleeping and none of the links work anymore. I'll start fixing them up ASAP, so just hold tight for now.

Should all be working now. I'll see about adding better images so that players can check out a champion's stats/abilities without having to switch windows to the rune checklist or something. Some minor additions here and there and the guide will be fully up to date!
