When do you find is the best time to deploy him? I'm unsure

 

Any time you're not deploying as first player.

 

Do you drop him early? I tend to avoid rushing with him but I don't know why..

 

I don’t use him but when vs him I like to deploy something with a every turn alt attack. Eg bezerk attack.

I’d deploy him if an opponent has all one damage type out. Mostly.

 

Yeah i think i only really use him vs amp BGs (psych/electric) When theres a lot of magic or physical out i'll drop Moog. Just started running Moog again he's a looottt of fun

 

In my experience Gekaal's value is mostly in the threat he presents to an opponent getting too close, rather than what he can actually do when that happens - sort of like having a nuke, but not using it.

 

Best time to drop him is in the rune manager before the game begins...

 

I usually drop him when i can get immediate value out of Ressurect.
