I find these tournaments terribly boring because of the formats.

 

I like the format challenging ones deck building a bit, And perhaps makes one change their playstyle a bit.
What kind of format would you rather have?

 

its not a big limits format. challenges=no limit. first match no limit. second match you have to adapt a bit.

its to give value to play and lose over non playing

 

that's not entirely true. if you play the first match without accounting for the second you're gonna have some issues, haha.

is it really necessary for banner to be resitricted?

 

yes, thats the point of trying to play without banner. if you really need it for one of your bgs, like in spiders (example), then play something that actually can play without it for second league match.
in 1st stage is not a big deal, in challenges there are no limitations, in league matches only on second match. if you pass to 2nd stage, then you need to get a little more creative.

suggestion from the tournament organize team: if you are still undecided about which faction to go with, dont choose UD. Its getting crowdy there
