SAO currently: they are doing genocides on artificial souls in a simulation. Bofuri: main character becomes a giant demon and does genocide in a simulation. see totally the same @Extinctshun is gonna agree with me, you'll see!
my kobold made an oopsie in my last DnD session. -our party has an item called "saint's bones", it is bones in a glass jar, they rattle and shake when a lie is told. bit of an obstacle for a lying rogue thief kobold. -set up camp,volunteer for first watch food is being prepared, lots of it, ask if there are chicken legs and wings, take them and eat. -PM DM "I save the bones to attempt to replace the saint's bones in the night" -roll well on stealth checks. later -"I want to go to the bank to see how protected money in the bank is, and how it works and where it is kept" -pixie "Blue, do you want to rob the bank?" -"No" -pixie player OOC "do the saint's bones rattle?" -DM:"no" - Blue *+20 confidence* continue into town, town has gang problem relating to racetrack and gambling - Dwarf spots an elf using sleigh of hand on some drunken dwarves to replace dice with loaded dice - party goes to confront, Blue says dwarf is seeing stuff - Kobold Cobalt Blue confidence: "we can use the saint's bones to prove this man is innocent" - Half orc barbarian "YES, THESE BONES TELL THE TRUTH SEE, I AM A PRANCING PINK UNICORN" -> player ooc, "the bones rattle" -DM "no, the bones stay silent." -*record scratch* *blue is immediatly surrounded by party members* - silence, followed by pixie doing detect magic, bones are not magic, -Pixie does investigate bones, finds they are chicken bones -Dwarf does zone of truth. - Blue rolls 1 for zone of truth, starts to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, produces bones from pockets -half Orc barbarian to elf dice cheater "How many people have you cheated with loaded dice in this way!" Elf "too many to count" Kobold unable to refrain from telling the truth " TWELVE!" -ELf cheater is handed in to the guard, stares angrily at party. so now we are going to get the gang on our collective asses.
