Known Issues with Unity Client

    This thread is for discussion of known issues with the Unity PoxNora client. Issues with game ability balance or abilities/spells/etc not functioning aren't really applicable but should be reported so that we can determine if they are client side or server-side issues. Issues with targeting, visual effects, etc are most likely client side issues.

    Known Issues

    Non-Game User Interface (lobby, etc)

    • Many buttons do not have sounds

    Launchpad (Main Menu)

    • Quest text in the launchpad sometimes lists the wrong requirements (20 instead of 10, etc)

    Rune/Deck Manager
    • Average cost of runes does not reflect rune ability choices
    • Runes list does not display correctly in 16:10 aspect ratio (shows 5 runes per row , but may not fill space fully)
    • Runes list can show empty below current row even though there are more runes
    • There is no scrollbar in the Runes list
    • While filtering by name, when exiting editing a Deck and then going back into the deck, the filter text still appears but all runes are shown until the filter is changed
    • [Steam Deck] Steam + X must be pressed to manually show the keyboard in order to enter a rune filter
    Game
    • User Interface
      • Tooltips and nested tooltips can have their text truncated
      • "Links" in combat chat do nothing
      • Active & Passive abilities do not correctly paginate
      • Equipment on Champions does not correctly show its Nora cost
      • Equipment tooltips can have incorrect sizing
      • There is no options button on PC in the UI
      • Equipment from Valdaci sacrifice abilities do not have icons when equipped
    • In rare cases, an incorrect movement path can be generated for the selected unit (movement bug)
      • the rare cases where this still happens may be related to units being spawned (Slags, etc)
    • Targeting on movement abilities such as Massive Leap or Crushing Charge behaves oddly on 2x2 units (requires pressing top most node, etc)
    • When a unit becomes stealthed again too quickly after exiting stealth, usually with the Trickster ability (but possible with other forms of stealth), they leave a "ghost" behind that blocks that tile, can be clicked on but otherwise not interacted with.

    Game Lobby
    • When 2v2 is selected and then the user returns to the launchpad and then goes back into custom or ranked, 2v2 is still selected but the list does not populate until you click the tabs for 1v1/2v2

    Maps
    • Using the arrow keys to move the map is really jumpy and not smooth

    Visual Effects
    • Magic Beam doesn't display itself across its entire length, instead it only will display a small glow on the tile you click on - the same applies to Water Vortex, Arctic Bolt, Impaling Strike, Lightning Skewer and Flamethrower
    • Some effects such as Dread Field only appear on the center tile
    • Warding's visual effect is missing
    • Avatar transformation leaves elements from the pre-transformation on the map in some cases, and some Avatars can have layering issues with their armor (for upgraded avatars)
    • Righteous Deflection is not appearing correctly

    Runes
    • Grimlic of K'Thir (LE) does not have the correct "foil" artwork

    Sounds
    • Font sounds are louder than intended and do not respect sound volume (needs reverification)
    • Some click sounds (Options button primarily) are louder than other sounds
    • If multiple effects go off at once which play the same sound (K'Thir Forest Shrine ability, for example), it can be really loud as it doesn't check to see if that sound is already being played

    Controller Support
    • Steam Input can block correct controller usage due to no defaults being set by developer (this may be fixed?)
    • Some button prompts still show Playstation specific icons rather than ABXY (xbox) icons rather than ABXY when applicable
      • Help screen in game is one instance of this
      • [Steam Deck] Button prompts are for Xbox buttons, so it shows "RB" instead of "R1" (since Steam Deck for some reason uses terminology from both Playstation and Xbox in one device)
