    Its damage type is not connected to the basic attack of the champion that uses the ability.

    Pounce deals Physical damage.

    Will update text to clarify.

    Note that Pounce will work even if you have a champion with no basic attack, you can still Pounce (it just won't do damage unless the champ has DMG).

    pounce should probably deal the attack type of the unit using it, imo.

    Just checked. Both Swoop and Pounce are coded as direct damage abilities that happen to have a Relocation component.

    The reason Pounce changed to not be an attack was because of bugs related to relocation + attacks.

    You can use swoop even while pacfied is that WAI because its relocation?

    I don't know why that would be, but Pacified in general needs to be cleaned up.
