I made a pork loin last night. So easy I had my five year old daughter do it while I supervised. Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C). Line a small sheet tray with foil for easy cleanup. Place pork loin on the sheet tray, with the fat side up. Cover the pork loin in Onion Soup Mix, store bought works too. One batch/packet for every 3 lbs (1.36 kg) Bake for approximately an hour, until internal temp reaches 145°F (63°C)
Roast: Get out ur crockpot (aka, pot) In this order: Cut up carrot/potato/onion, throw in pot. Salt/pepper roast, throw in pot Open pack of onion soup mix, throw in pot Open can of cream of mushroom, throw in pot (I used home made cream of mush, this time) If roast is small, cook for 6-8 hr on low If it's YUGE: 8-12 hours on low How do I know it's done?: -people who live in and around your dwelling will be ravenous and finding reasons to "drop by", fork in hand -meat falls apart with a nudge
Polish dumplings with cottage cheese filling, a spaghetti-like sauce and a bit of salt. Made it a few moments ago, eating right now. Dumplings were self-made and I used a premade spaghetti sauce that I enhanced with a bit of tomato puree.
The sauce was put into the fridge for 30 mins to cool it a bit, so that when I applied it on dumplings, they were edible right away instead of burning hot. It was delicious. ^^
I had a reading comprehension fail. You said you made it a few moments ago and I read months ago haha.
That looks like a pork tenderloin. Another delicious cut, but even more tender and less fat than a pork loin. I would not recommend my recipe on a pork tenderloin as the rendered fat is needed to dissolve the onion soup mix. I typically buy the loin whole for $15-$20 at Costco. The loin picture below is not a whole loin, but the center loin, which is more often used for chops than roasts. I used the sirloin end for my roast. The link has more information about the individual pieces of the loin. Tenderloin Loin:
Rice with a cheese and creamy sauce, oregano, marjoram, provence herbs and a kebab-gyros mix of spices (mostly paprika). It's very herby and incredibly tasty. Also featuring my finger in the top left corner. I kinda wish the sauce poured itself in a more yummy-looking manner but eh.
