Every time I hit play this happens, I've tried reinstalling, deleting folders, etc... Nothing has helped so far. Any suggestions would be appreciated. # # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x70f653f5, pid=2648, tid=2340 # # JRE version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (7.0_45-b18) (build 1.7.0_45-b18) # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (24.45-b08 mixed mode windows-x86 ) # Problematic frame: # C [OpenGL32.dll+0x853f5] # # Failed to write core dump. That is odd because Pox should have run fine with just 3gb of ram. But, it is good to hear your problem was resolved.
I'm having the same issue as the OP. # # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x70e353e5, pid=2928, tid=3584 # # JRE version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (7.0_45-b18) (build 1.7.0_45-b18) # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (24.45-b08 mixed mode windows-x86 ) # Problematic frame: # C [OpenGL32.dll+0x853e5] # # Failed to write core dump. Appreciate any help!
There is a known issue with some Core 2 Duo integrated graphics not being able to run the game of which we are working on a hotfix. As as precaution make sure you have the newest version of java installed. Also, it could be a ram issue. We have upped the ram requirements for Pox Nora from 512MB to 1GB to improve performance that coupled with Win 7 requiring more resources to run than XP it very well could be that you are running out of memory. Try eliminating any background processes that are not required for your computer to run.

Hmm, looking at your screenshot the date on your computer says 6/16/2014. Make sure your computer is set for the correct date and time. If your computer is not using the right date and time that will prevent you from connecting to our download server.
Did you try completely uninstalling Pox Nora, delete the Pox Nora folder in your install directory, download and install the newest version of your video drivers, and then try installing Pox Nora again? What version of Pox Nora are you using Steam or the stand alone download?
