What the hell happened to Underdepths?

It seems that all the runes have been nerfed and also increased by noracost.

Nefari Messenger over 90nora? Seriously?!?
DE Masochist without Drive?!?
Griefbearer without Detect?

I can not understand what the runes playable those unplayable.

Please do not tell me spiders, goblins and minotaurs.
I play with UD because I want to play with the demons, not with the critters.

What should be the current metagame?

 

Deep Elves are pretty danged effective at the moment.

 

you might not see it right away

but a lot of stuff is really powerful in UD and hidden away

 

I came back after four years and found exactly the same thing. Nefari Messenger is bugged, Pincushion is nerfed. You might find some joy by manually setting abils. My Sheoul Demons were auto updated to be rubbish. I reset them.

It is not really viable to use old school BGs vs modern stuff.

 

Masochist is still a baws tho.

 

Pincushion is one of the best champs in UD, it might have been nerfed from pre-revamp version but then everything in the game has been nerfed.

 

fire bomb has a cool down of three now so if imp familiar and grimlic are out together you can not fire bomb every turn. i was deeply saddened by this
