when i play league of legends cpu barely reaches 30 but when i play pox its always over 65 and slowing my shiz up :S why???? pox is a small shizzy game why is it taking so much cpu?
Pox can lag pretty bad for me if i have any videos or music playing in the background,or anything using flash player.
The game is super bloated and nobody now living has any understanding of its foundational structure. All we can do is add to it and hope that that appeases the spirits that dwell within.
Granted there is a bit of this to the codebase; but really the main issue is that the engine uses Jogl, and unless they have updated it the engine is many years out of date. I have been playing with libgdx lately, but I haven't gotten far enough to test if the sprite engine there is actually better or not than what Pox uses. (No my project is not related to Pox, sorry.)
