I don't. I laugh at the fact that some people blame christianity as a religion because a bunch of people who claimed to be christians and knew nothing about chrisianity did something wrong.
I'm not blaming the religion itself, I'm blaming the school of thought that organized religions, such as Islam or Christianity, promote. "If you don't believe what I believe, you are going to burn in hell". It goes against all levels of morality
yeah there is alot of prejudice but it doesnt excuse what's going on in many places in the middle east at the same time. It's pretty sad how messed up people are. the prejudices also go both ways and alot of muslims hate christians for irrational reasons.(even though it is true that christians have done much more harm to the middle east than vice versa)
I'm pretty sure you don't need to be a christian to go to heaven in my opinion (or not burn in hell). Otherwise he wouldn't be called a truly "Good" god.
your opinion is blasphemous and you shall be burned for heresy. I mean your opinion is heretical and you shall be burned for blasphemy. ... You know what I mean... the point is the same that is true for christians is true for muslims.
I did. Saying 1 christian is dumb doesn't mean all christians are dumb. That just false generalizations. It's just like saying "1 man is ugly, then all men must be ugly!".
yeah, so you took what I said meaning not all christians are X and not all muslims are X and you made it just not all christians are X because you still want to generalize muslims. got it.
Meh, religions are open to interpretation, and the vast majority of the time, people interpret their religion in such a way that it supports their existing beliefs. Everyone uses it as an excuse for doing what they would have done anyways. That seems to go for all religions, including Christianity.
they often times even use their religions to justify actions that they know are wrong. the problem with religion is that people are the ones that invented them and follow them. This is a problem because people are extremely flawed.
its a mix of both, religion is used as a tool or a catalyst. same with gun debate. both are too blame not 1 or the other.
