drums of war is stupid, who wins is completely irreverent and doesn't represent anything other than what factions noobs are spamming most.
I couldn't agree more with such a cool idea the owls and soe never really capitalized on what would have been a very fun competitive environment for all players. The rewards for dow are sub-par and they would be fine if they happened more frequently or affected more than the same 5 players over and over and over again but sadly it's the same 5 players for each faction that always win.
thats because they spam the most games. all drums of war is, is a participation contest.(ranked is basically the same thing now since now you can play people 500+ rating lower and still get 5 exp per game)
