Could have at least stuck around to check out the new runes. I've been playing League a lot less as well, though I don't think I'd ever go so far as to delete my account. You never know when you might feel that nostalgic itch to come back.
I almost sold my LoL account once. I hear there is a healthy market for high ranked accounts. I just couldnt bring myself to let someone else use my name.
well that was it wasnt it. its not that i dont like the game, its actually quite the opposite, i play the game to much. another big problem with the game was that i would not get bored, i could play 6 hours a day with out batting an eye. At least with pox, or the other games, i get bored within 1 hr and i am forced to do somthing else.
I did the same thing. That game is a colossal timesink and my quality of life has been in a steady increase since I left it. In retrospect though, I should have given my account, which had all skins and champs except for like UFO Corky and Black Alistar, to one of the NA fuccbois.
i could sell it, but that seems like to much work.( unless anyone here is willing to buy) But ya, exactly. what badguy said, ive had it banned for myself before, only to have the support re activate if for me 3 months later and be into it again. I uninstall the game on a weekly basis, and i keep going back. Im not opposed to gaming per say, its that lol has nothing more to give me(ive played since season 2), and at this point i might as well look at a freshly painted wall for all its giving me. Boredom is the catalyst of creativity. and i have not had that in a long long time. already not playing for a week and ive done things i would not have done if i had lol. got myself the meetup app and am also looking for cool groups to do stuff with@MrBadguy ofcourse ideally i would just be able to still have my account and play maybe 1 hr or so a week seeing how much time ive put into the game. but i just dont think i have the discipline to do that. so im going cold turkey.
I did this and found two weekly board game groups: one for Thursdays and one for Saturdays plus whatever marathons they schedule. Hope you find something cool.

i want games where i can outplay people and out stratagize. Siedler Catan are basically all luck based.
catan is evil, throw it away. there are plenty of good games. try "onitama", or "quarto ", or "hive". no luck involved.
abstract games have no soul. try Scythe, Terra Mystica, or Terraforming Mars. Very little RNG, but actually an interesting theme.
