Are out of control. Whispers of the Mind Tales of Valor (25 nora lol) Dragon Fear Blizzard Cloak Burning Crusade Channeled Violence Masochism Nublin's Pies Haunt/Overgrowth (real champs not even summons) Treefolk's Blessing Was there a meeting about 30 nora being the target price for single target spells no matter what they do or how good they are? Just curious.
First two should simply not exist, cv may have +5, tb doesn't really need special treefolk case, everything else if fine.
So it's safe to say there is some hate for at least some of the spells on this list depending on what you play?
Well obviously. The stuff I use is fine and the stuff I lose to is OP. Duh. First 2 are dumb. Fear could easily lose the refund and take a hike. Cloak is in the same boat as Whisper. Messes you up hardcore for the price. CV is just stuck at the same price as the original version. Might as well be AOE3 (or2) Draks gain multi, drop the rest (its irrelevant), go for 35 Maso is a corner case. Doubt it's the price the problem. It's the scenarios. Kinda whatever Piez shouldnt contest that's a given (unless that was changed though i doubt it) Treefolk is worth more but then again, nobody runs Taint. Is it still solid at 35? (I would assume so) No comment on Haunt/Growth
Tales of valor needs to go up to 35 nora but to get rid of it entirely is a dumb idea. I don't think any spell should ever summon a real champ and i love kthir overgrowth. Cloak need's to be more expensive and dragon fear 30 nora +get 15 nora back is kinda ridiculous. The rest i don't really see a problem with they all have ways around it just my opinion though.
I still think there needs to be a better system in place to regulate spell casting. Nora is not a great limiter for spells as it makes them either useless or great.
Several of the cheap spells like Ancient Implications and Dragonfear are too cheap for what they do. However they're too strong precisely because they're too cheap. (For example, Dragonfear is cleansible, but being able to cast it for 15-20 nora is why it's strong.) However it's probably best to let the owls do the thing , so we don't get into players defending their own faction and accusing the rest.
Whispers is bonkers, sure it has acleansable clause to it, but if you don't have spell detection and or valid cleansing options (ones that don't cost nora) it's such a huge tempo hit. All for thirty Nora.
