How would a "starting" (read budget) bg be like, and which would be the runes I would be substituting as I get more points? Also, are hyaenids solid as a BG? What are the pros and cons, and worst matchups? Thanks a lot in advance

Hyaenids work best once you have more access to runes, imo. I think they are pretty good, but some of their better champs are more expensive (Executioner/Stalker/Flamefist).
