Ancestral Avenger is back

AA is strong again. So much so that it will probably require some adjustments - again. But this time around can it be done without shoeboxing him?

A step in the right direction might be to shave off 1 speed and maybe some hp. Or simply give corporeal form CD1.

 

Avenger has been bad since pariah.

What changed?

 

Corporeal form is without cool down. So you can leave incorporeal, attack - sometimes twice - and go back in incorporeal in one turn.

 

it also doesn't cost 5 hp.

the change was +1 cooldown to corporeal form. it was broke as Firk at CD 1

 

Isn't it CD 1 now whereas it was CD 0 previously?

Phase spider also took the hit.

Balanced I'd say.

 

The CD definitely reigns in the abuseability. He still has a ton of hps and hits like a truck.

I wasnt sure how our abilities interacted with Pariah, but it appears global abilities like divine favor heal him, and Combined Effort grants him ranks of Dodge(actually pretty spicy since it stacks ranks).
