Currently the aquatic ability is a giant wall of text. To simplify it i propose Aquatic( This champion has water driven, Sea life, and domain water) Water driven works the same as dwarf driven Sea life: At the beginning of your turn if this champion is not in water it loses 5 life With this change I feel Domain X could be given ranks Domain X rank 1: This champion has mobility if it is in X terrain Rank 2: This champion has +2dmg +1 def and mobility if it is in terrain X Rank 3: This champion gains +3dmg +2df +1spd and mobility if it is in terrain X. thoughts?
Aquatic This champion has Amphibious (This champion ignores restrictions and penalties imposed by Water). While occupying Water, this champion gets +1 DEF, +1 SPD, +2 DMG, and has Mobility (This champion may disengage the turn it becomes Engaged and disengages for 0 AP). When moving to a location that is not at least half water, there is an additional 1 AP cost unless it is Flying. At the beginning of your turn, if this champion is not occupying Water, it loses 5 HP. Aquatic 3 This champion has Lumbering(This champion's AP cost for each movement is increased by 1.), Water Driven (While this champion occupies water, it loses Lumbering.), Sea Life (At the beginning of your turn if this champion does not occupy water it loses 5 life.), and Domain Water 3 (This champion gains +3 DMG +2 DEF +1 SPD and Mobility (This champion may disengage the turn it becomes Engaged and disengages for 0 AP) if it occupies Water.) Yup.
Couldn't we just divide aquatic into the positive/negative effects? The positive effects are basically domain: water The negative effects are lumbering and the dmg at the start of the turn. Actually, why not just: Aquatic: This champion has domain water and loses 1 ap and 1 hp when moving across non-water terrain. Have domain abilities not impose impediment on said domain.
what if each of these affects were applied separately to different champs EX: Mirefolk gets water driven Piranid gets lose hp
