Avatar Balance

Just curious but do people consider the Avatars in their current state to be balanced?


One I find particularly silly is ST's avatar having Majestic

 

Remove Avatars, make Hero runes instead.

 

No, FS avatar is still horrible. Actually more horrible than before, no water anymore ....

 

The funny thing is majestic is the worst thing about the ST avatar.

 

I think they're balanced, because if you think about it using an avatar is mostly considered a last-ditch effort.

 

They aren't even close to balanced. . .

I'd rank the Avatars as follows for transfiguring:

1. ST
   
2. KF
   
3. IS
   
4. SL
5. UD
   
6. SP
   
7. FW
   
8. FS

And after transfiguring:

1. IS
   
2. KF
   
3. ST
   
4. SP
   
5. UD
   
6. SL
7. FW
8. FS

The order changes based on your BG theme, but for general purposes this is usually accurate, IMO.

IS, KF and ST, especially, are head and shoulders above the FS Avatar because they come with on deploy globals that can end-games. When I was playing Ferren, I would regularly transfig my Avatar as a means of power turning. KF/IS do the same.

 

For KF and ST its considered a powerturn. Expensive but usually game winning.
