No. I am in full agreement with you and has never considered doing something illegal and amoral like that.

I recommend playing some EVE. Scams there are not only legal, but even encouraged by devs.

EVE really has the worst of all communities. I'd play it if it wasn't as aggressive and overpriced, because a space simulation with a lot of trading could be quite cool, but with all the "cool" kids running around EVE was rather obnoxious instead of impressive.

Back to topic, IP bans might not work, as here in Europe IP's usually change one a day. People IP banning me have a bad time, lol.

 

Unlike some other online games, we're a bit more....uhh...intimate which is code for small player base.

In a big town, crime is a statistic but it's not in a small town. Makes it a lot harder for the devs not to get involved (IMO, of course). It also automatically enrolls the perpetrator in the "Dumbest Criminals of the Month" contest.

 

You are wrong. Eve has highest average age of all mmos, there are simply no kids in most alliances. All you need is to join pvp 0-based corp right from the start and ignore general chats/communities, learning all you need with voice.

 

Too bad I hated EVE's deranged and wonky PvP system ... As for "no kids", being a kiddo is not really age-dependant. The price kind of enforces a higher age average, but the maturity average sure wasn't anything special.
