This is kind of the major point. I like to think we're "all in it together" when playing this game. Even when the rage starts. Time to run this varmit out of town!
I feel helpless and robbed and stupid on one side and then i feel that this community , this game and everyone that commented support and request for justice are simply the reason why i love this game so much I call for the OWLS OF JUSTICE to help a dude in need

Wow, a scammer with a good heart? Unheard of. Probably scared to get a ban after reading this thread. Hmm, don't think so. Scammers know they face the risk of a ban before they scam to begin with. Seriously though, glad you got your runes back.

Being intelligent has NOTHING to do with opting to scam the interwebz. This is a good reminder for all y'all. +1 to the community.
hmm, one question remains: Why did he return the runes? 1) He read the forums and did not want to be banned 2) Meaning, he is somewhat rich or quite wealthy pox-wise 3) He understands decondor's system, and vultures Rune Trader 24/7. So if I may assume: its a semi-active player that have been for quite some time (to amass a wealth), while also being active in both Poxbox and Rune Trader. thats very vague tho. gg.
The lengths people will go to in order to obtain virtual goods with questionable value... I'm glad this turned out well and I hope it serves as a lesson to always check twice before you accept any binding irreversible agreement via the interwebs or not, "people" are horrible, just try and be smarter than them and raise the bar just a little, one action at a time.
Maybe this "scammer" actually wasn't a scammer, but just wanted to help our community by showing, how someone can be scammed, so we would be more carefull? :O nah, I think he was just afraid of ban or he got a lot of angry pms
But he put in the effort of making a shady copycat account, copying the poxbox message and searching for trades meant for poxbox? Doubt it. Seems like this guy was trying to be clever and somehow didn't go through with it. Any of the more experienced/known tradesharks know reprisal from the devs is non-existant anyway.
I have a boubt about the trade was per pb, it has 4 copy of the same rune, and here all know that's impossible try to trade 4 copy of the same rune from pb
