Bone Slave + Goresplosion Combo not dealing proper damage

Bone Slave with Death Nova Physical 3 should give 11 damage within 2 spaces. Goresplosion says it does 12 physical damage, scours and makes opponent lose charges.

I move my bone slave next to an opposing champ and cast Goresplosion.

The enemy unit only took the damage from Goresplosion (12 dmg plus scour), instead of dealing an additional 11 from my death nova.

This seems like a bug. Can you confirm please? Or is this by design?
