Right, I forgot. I'm biased though, I play Wings/Flying with 2x Wings of Glory. Tank gets all rude and in my face and I just mass Swoop it to death (not a basic attack).
they are about as viable as they were before. you can probably do decently well with them in a lower ranked league, past that they won't work well.(not much has changed, they improved a few trees but they didnt deal with the main issues) I just expect the worse and hope for the best when it comes to gameplay changes. There are a few reasons why the gameplay probably wont get to where it should be in the near future. contributions to balance by players who dont really know what their talking about, the devs who work on the balancing not understanding the games pvp very well, the devs fixing gameplay problems at a very slow pace(due to not understanding the pvp), devs not knowing who to listen to on each issue, and them not having the resources to get assign a specialist to this area.(who could take more time to understand the games pvp better and filter player feedback) for example I have been complaining about hero/titan and providing solutions to fix them since like January and they still arent completely fixed yet. This seriously could have been handled in a week but for some reason stuff takes forever to get accomplished and takes even longer to get it done right. another example is sok not seeing the issue with kartch or the berserker ability. A specialist would probably be able to identify the problems pretty easily but he doesnt have time to really learn the games pvp and is oblivious to the pretty obvious(to experienced/skilled players) issues.

How do you feel about Serpentor Ardent losing Defiant from base? Defiant is expensive, easily bypassed and is a Tank ability. Ardent is no tank. I think at 68/70/72 nora he'd be great. He would need to be balanced ofcourse if that is over the line or OP etc. I just dont think he needs Defiant or the big +8 nora its adding onto him.
Could we get an Aspect of Growth redesign? He is pretty useless at the moment tied with only the IS Aspect for unplayability.
so yeah. instead of adding nora onto font eruption can we reduce it by 5 and make it not hit relics. also revert the nora cost change on semi aquatic because currently they all get +1 speed for 0 cost and the workaround for that is not a difficult one at all

Would moving Defiant on Ardent to his Upgrade 2 line with Fear and Fear 2 be too much of a buff? Id run him so bad if he dropped 8 noras. At 78 though hes just falls short compared to the many other melee options Draksar have. I just want to play my Ardents. Putting on upgrades allows people to still run him as a anti physical champ if they want to.
It's somewhat annoying people only seem to want to run low 70 champs, but it is what it is. I will check him out.
Its not that i dont want to run 78 nora champs etc, i run 2 Hunchbacks for 78 nora as it happens. I run 2 Consulates at 74. I run 2 Swamp Things for 80 nora. I play loads of runes that are borderline 80 nora. I also run Vindrax at 100 nora Its just that when i look at Ardent i find it tough to justify including him for nearly 80 nora. He dies really easily, unless your opponent is silly and deploys entirely physical damage. To me it feels like hes a badass damage dealing Serpentor elite, Defiant feels like a tank ability to me. If u want to take Fear 2 on his U2 line or Regen3 in his U1 line it puts his cost pretty high. When i look at him, he looks a tad bloated with abilities and something like Defiant which is situational at best is adding a lot to his nora cost. I just want to play my Ardents and not feel bad about it. Whatever you think is best. I just want my Ardents to have a place in my decks. The sprite is too cool to be left out. Edit: I would run him at 78 nora if he had a different set up. I just dont want to pay 8 nora for Defiant. Its kinda meh.
I wonder if you could buff Queen Anaru a bit. She seems very expensive at 95 or so. You've done so well removing champs from the shoebox (including Ardent imo), so I hope you will do something similar for Anaru. Thanks for your consideration.
Her problem is that she comes with a full other champ that costs ~50 nora on its own. It means she will be expensive as long as that remains true. The only way to make her cheaper would be to remove her pet or change the pet to something else. It is something I am willing to do, but that does require some additional effort from other people on the team (while stuff like fiddling with Defiant's cost is something I can easily).
I wasn't sure about the stats on the lerper, but considering Hekatian Bloodguard is 77 with a good (ranged) sidekick, couldn't you lower Anaru's cost a bit? If you say it's fair at this price, I accept that.
Bloodguard had the same problem until I replaced its pet with something weaker (it used to summon a 70+ nora champ with 41 HP, now it summons a 25 HP champ). The Lerper is a 1 DEF, 42 HP champ currently. So I either nerf the Lerper and then recost her pet ability, or I change it. Either way, I will make a note to check her out, but it'll probably need to wait til I have code time to adjust the pet ability itself, especially since it creates a summon with upgrades also (which is something we are moving away from). But yea, I could lower her cost right now a bit, but it wouldn't make a huge difference.
