Hi I think that the balance of this starting decks is SCREWED... But for the sake of good play, can someone help me to understand this deck and play it at it's most? Im having severe problems against powercreeped barbarians, lack of powerturn when there are a bunch on the table (can't do AoE) and range control. I would really appretiate some advices and moves I've been possibly ignoring. i'd say it's not that good of an FS bg. (sorry to bring alive but... @GabrielQ do you mind if i 'fix' this bg. and you ask gedden about changes to public decks. (idk) but either way for new FS players this needs a lil tuneup.) This is because alot of new players will be playing this to see what faction they like, and i feel it doesn't represent the multi-contributing race we have going in water, http://poxbase.com/deck/c9ctC81cfWC5wc56c5BC3LC9Qc57C82c1gc5qs1fsds4Us33s1gsms46s3vR13rWe1H this probably could be tuned-up on. i followed the bg restrictions. Same number of champs as before. Now has detect, some portable water and a frontline worthy pirahnid. (which i this bg lacked in showing their beastly presence. Goyo, i would give advice but the runes have all been changed xD. Also gabriel, maybe oneday we could see the prevamp slipworm back... i miss him.
I don't play much FS, (Mostly just Snapteeth) but I found that the FS deck was very similar to the Mirefolk one. Both are about water gen and semi-aquatic. New players coming to test out FS that don't want to play with water gen wouldn't have much fun. I personally think some kind of boghopper BG would be best for a couple of reasons. 1. They feel very clean and easy to understand. 2. Boghoppers are cool and fun to play. 3. It's not hard to go from using a custom Boghopper BG to make your own Boghopper BG.
I agree with maybe changing Slipwater to a Boghopper deck, especially as The Mirefolk is already there to give new players a chance to play with aquatics, mirefolk and water gen based bgs. Hoppers need some exposure. I threw together this random deck quickly, sort of a surge deck, maybe it could be something like this. Apparently, the new rule to public decks are max 2 Exotic, no Legendary/Limited Edition. Your deck includes 4 Exotics.
Does that include Warbanners? I gave a little change to fit those rules: http://poxbase.com/deck/C9cwDCpNCtC30cjYC8IC3Jc2@Cpuc5qs1s6Ts5As33s1gsms46s5BrWr2ae2qe1H
