The clothing industry is filthy rich and perpetuate a "nudity is wrong" mythos that dominates popular culture. Attempts to break free of this mold is criminalized as "indecent exposure" or confined to specific locales. The clothes they produce also push specific views on how males and females should dress when we should be free to make our own choices. It is time we woke up and realized the tyranny of this cabal, whose total yearly take is in the trillions of dollars: http://www.treehugger.com/sustainable-fashion/25-shocking-fashion-industry-statistics.html Shake free of this oppression. Streak today!
I just realized this says "men" "women" AND "children." Really? Are there stores that cater to... some other group?
This topic is pretty silly, but also quite serious as well. Overeacting with stopping wearing clothes is not a good solution. Humans have evolved to needing clothes to survive. However overproduction is a massive problem. Clothes themselves aren't really a problem here, as they don't pollute. (Unless you are wearing plastic clothes?) The problem is how they are produced, in this case, it's caused by chemical discharges. (Not certain exactly what these discharges are.) This problem obviously not only about clothes though. There is a saying that says if every Chinese household had a refrigerator, the world would go under. My family's household have 1 cooler and 3 refrigerators, 2 of which have small coolers on top.
All my clothes have been made using cheap slave labor, but that's okay because these 2,50 euro T-shirts fit me nicely.
