Concerned about number of players

I'm not sure what is going on this week? Are players upset about last patch or something else is going on? Like colleges starting soon and people coming back from vacations? I have never seen such low numbers like this week.

 

No, Pox has just been stagnant for too long, and even though the revamp was much appreciated, they have been negating all of its benefits with these weekly patches.

 

School started back up this week in much of the US.

 

86 ppl online, 35 in bg? That's normal for these hours. Will peak in 7-8 hours then fall down again.

lack of an expansion really hurts pox, in the past expansions always helped peak the game population, if we consider the revamp the same as an expansion with tons of new content and what not, then this is the lull 2 months after it's release that really only gets fixed by another expansion coming out.

 

Don't count those in single player. Those are just farming since revamp there was more players and they want to sell top runes. So I just count those in Battleground. This whole week we had about just 30 players in there.

 

I noticed a huge decline as well but school is around the cornerfor most countries

I am taking a break from play until a few more patches go live or the new expansion hits, whichever comes first.

Might have something to do with the mass amount of players who died from laughing or sheer horror when they saw that Klub buff.

Maybe pox can continue existing with 100 bg players or so... Could it turn into a game developed by players opinions and a minimum quantity of workers? Kind of a player base - devs cooperative game that is cheap to mantain, appealing enough to keep a stable core of players plus some percentage of players that come and go.

I mean, I've been playing since serkans expansion and not planing to stop, it's just that sometimes I take a month break, but I always come back...

 

This is different from now how?
