There were a lot of changes for Constructs, including the new Silverclan Purger. Please post any new battlegroups, including max-budget, low-budget and mid-budget. What are your thoughts of the new Construct? What are your thoughts of the changes of existing Constructs? Did the changes shoebox any? Did the changes make any previously shoeboxed viable? How many Engineers vs Constructs do you recommend?
Looking forward to getting home from work and trying a SP clops/construct deck I think as a whole, structs are in a good place post expac I usually run 4-5 engineers/tinkerers.

What does a good Construct deck look like post Ronin. I started trying to make a construct deck before construct immunities got deleted. I have most of them but I do not know much about playing them. I would like to see some deck examples and some explanations of rune choices. This would be greatly appreciated.
I would still like to see someone construct a decent SP/IS Construct deck. With the new SP runes in Ronin I think it would be fairly entertaining.
So I'm in the process of shelving the is/sp constructs i had together. I just couldnt make it work. Never landed on a solid spell set, and the tinkerers all felt like weak links that didnt bring enough to the table. Might try straight IS constructs though. I really, really wanted it to work firecases are tons of fun.
https://poxbase.com/deck/calc2NCa3Chpcaxcfhcl6cfgc1HC3YCwTs4BSfs5FSls43RHrirYE5ehe3i This is an IS only construct- ish/equip- ish BG. not sure what to think. Lacks ranged units
My critics to your BG, in particular some runes: > Very few ranged, try adding Silverclan Protector/Turret Team/Whitestone Gargoyle. Even Ironfist Glider, Dwarven Catapult and Dwarven Mortar Crew can be run with the apropiate positioning. > Lodestone Armory: It can attack only once every 3 turns, unless you run Holy Blade of Valdac. Even when it brings Improve Speed, is just a fat roadblocker with no defensive ability besides Block if you upgrade provision and equip it. > Metallic Slag: I have a love/hate relationship with this rune. Fascinate and Hallucinogenic are great, and cause you opponent to position with care. My problem with him is being really squishy and vulnerable to ranged attacks. https://poxbase.com/deck/ctgCalcoTC4Bc1tcaxCfhcfgc1Hc3YC8YCwWs4Bsls7ms4Gs7Hs6Ms43rirYe1ve2Ye3ie_ This is what I'm runnig now. I change it a lot, but the runes I usually try to get in are Refute, another Repair, Bane Blast, Tales of Valor, Dragon Engine, Silverclan Purger.
Purger kicks KFs teeth in. If you can get Sarge out you can drive opponents 6 speed units to push them to 7 speed for Hunter.
thats why you have to split with SP, calcifying tough 3 metallic slag isn't really squishy at all. and if you're facing grimlic or some kinda heavy ranged dude, just WotM and use that 1 turn gap to hallucino-lock it until it dies. The bad part of metallic slag imo is when both of you turtle around and spam champs and getting into a positioning battle in consecutive turns...this way, hallucinolocking one guy just doesn't cut it.
Sry my poxbase doesnt work donno y. Sp: 1 warcart, 2 firecase, 2 artificier, 2 metallic slag, 2 purger (1 w pummel, 1 w charge 3) Is: 2 silvercl protector, 1 blackstn garg, 2 dorf engineer, 1 silvercl tinkerer, 1 clockwork swarm And as markoth said, u got Slavers Whilp to take advtg of purger's Hunter... Super slow but steamrolls if it does with all the Build em Toughs and free grobles. When ronin came out the BG stands on mid LE-high exo, but now it kinda fell to high rare-mid exo. Too many fast UD BGs
