When a champion with counter attack melee, is basic attacked by a champion with Attack: Fire, while next to a caliginous cauldron, no counter attack is performed. The Counter Attack champ did not die to the attack, The attack champion did not have impenetrable, No damage redirection was in effect (absolutely no animation) The CA champ was not blinded or antagonized Nothing in the description of Counter Attack Melee would make me think that attacks that don't deal damage should not get countered.
