well I didn't want to deal with all the registry cleaner scams and was hoping for a recommendation of a trusted method/product.

if anyone else has this issue Revo Uninstaller Pro has a free 30 day trial and seems to have done the trick.

my guess is it was from g2g.com. they sometimes block the vids with a msg about needing a flash player or something. I only use top notch porn sites, thanks.
