Not only does this nerf crystals, but also the defense against most abilities where you have to get with in 3 spaces. It controlled pounce and seismic leap even. I know they are 5 spaces away but you can limit them from really crashing your lines.
I could of told you it was a pretty hefty nerf. both wailing yeti, and crystal howler are incredibly tough fits now. wailing doesn't even make my reserve list for my bg, to give you an example of my opinion of him I think a tundra yeti is more viable to be run then him, the only reason he didn't make my list of yeti's with no redeemable features is the his attack is sonic, and if you need more damage types i could see running him.
the whole crystal theme is pretty finished with this nerf and the fascinate gone with no buffs to compensate
