    The Elven Army Back Story
    The Elven Army is governed by Darius, member of the Eternal Council. It is comprised of scouts, warriors, archers, bureaucrats, and military leaders. The core of the warriors are the furies, led by Sallissa. Furies inspire those around them to serve with valor in protecting the elves in their homeland of K'thir. Elite Furies are mounted on condors to serve as important air support for the army. Archers are trained by L'ilim and led by M'alrese. Buraeucrats attempt to stall opponents with buraeucracy. Military leaders position their troops for battle. With so much conflict in the Eternal Circle between De'lim and everyone, the Nefari, although same in race and purpose, are internal enemies. The Elven Army is called upon to protect from enemies, both foreign and domestic.

    The Elven Army Strategy
    This strategy is the most common one in pox, dropping and positioning to control the board. Here might be a sample battle group, considering the suggested changes below.

    Elven Fury
    Council Member Darius keeps charge of the Furies who lead the Elven Army in battle and are fairly skilled in combat. Furies grow stronger the longer they are in battle, and they inspire those around them to fight harder. Furies are the cornerstone foot troops and irreplaceable. Two of these should be in any Elven Army build.

    (Royal) Condor Fury
    When an Elven Fury has killed enough in battle and demonstrated herself as a valiant warrior, if a condor is available, the Fury receives the honor of accompanying the condor in battle and wearing the Elven Army battle colors. These Furies are very dangerous in battle. Two of these should be in any Elven Army build.

    Circle Messenger
    As conflict escalated in K`thir, the Eternal Circle would lose messengers to Nefari ambushes. The messages began to arrive much more often once they began riding avia instead of horses. Messengers are vital parts in any Elven Army battle group since they can bring people together. One of these should be in every Elven Army battle group.

    Elven Strategist
    Strategists are the experts in battle tactics since they have been trained by the best in K'thir. Darius trusts in their abilities. It is the benefit of the other troops to do as they command, or they may suffer the cost of poor choices during battle. These move troops or units around and buff their stats. These need to be in every Elven Army battle group.

    Elven Bureaucrat
    Bureaucrats focus on stalling the enemy. Darius incorporated these into the Elven Army when he saw that they were too focused on war and not enough on negotiation. Besides, they proved that they could stall uncompromising enemies just enough for the army to move into place. One of these should be in every battle group.

    Elven Skymarshall
    When the Nefari first came on the scene in K'thir, Darius's Furies were having some trouble searching them out. Skymarshalls were brought on board to help the army with aerial support and enemy troop detection. Skymarshalls having proven their worth but are not always skilled in battle. One of these should be in every Elven Army battle group.

    Archer Commander
    Archers have been a main component of Elven military strategy since the beginning. L'ilim
    trains the archers while M'alrese leads them in battle Archer Commanders focus on archery damage. When one these is surrounded by other archers, they can tear down most battle groups with volley shots. At least one of these should be in every Elven Army battle group.

    Rain of Arrows 3 (Area Effect 2, Range 5: Affected units in the affected area take Physical damage equal to 80% of this unit's DMG. This damage ignores DEF. Champions successfully damaged become Sundered for 3 turns. (+10 nora))

    Elven Archer
    These are the basic archers of Elven Army. They seek to support the Elven Army melee champs with a barrage of ranged arrows. These are even stronger when bunched together for great effect. Elven Archers skill with the arrow is unmatched compared with other races in Pox. Two of these should be in every Elven Army battle group.

    Arrowsinger
    Arrowsinger, besides Elven Prodigies, are elite Elven Archers. Elven Archers who advance their archery skills can be called to the ranks of the Arrowsingers. Arrowsingers continue to support melee champs just like their Elven Archer counterparts but with much more impact, and their bows have been magically imbued. These should be in every Elven Army build.
