Isn't that the case with all of us ... I sit at home and play videogames (aside of those infuriating times when I'm studying chemistry). Exciting, exciting. Then again, internet me is kinda dull, too.
I know someone who works at BASF ... well, he held a lecture, anyway I do REALLY know someone who works at the plant where they build rudders for Airbus aircraft
I have a hot girlfriend. And I can party every weekend if I chose to. And I live in Vegas that makes me cool right?
i mean if we're just doing cool things about people related to us, something like a greatuncle of mine is the one that came up with the basic electric motor (or something) that pretty much all locomotives now use he was in the navy at the time iirc, they got the patent and loadsa dough (though i don't think we had a separate army/navy at that point? dno). he got a handshake and some warm fuzzy feelings.
Germany is full of Nazis I will never go there it makes you uncool to live there. See how hurtful and inaccurate unvalidated generalizations can be? Vegas is a beautiful city full of diversity and ethnicity, as well as wonderful music and architecture. I've been there > 30 times and loved every visit. It's my favorite place to vacation. And I don't even gamble. Unfortunately it gets the rep of being dirty and hectic because of popular media. It is viewed as a "party city" . (inaccurate, but still not necessarily completely a bad thing) It can get like that on the strip when it's busy, but that is one street. One street in a town of 1 million. How can you have such a negative view of a thriving city without ever having visited it? Loss of credit.
