I could answer with what I do when I stress or simply what I drink. Stress seemed the closer response. But I do not seek drink when stressed.
IPAs are a good drink for me, I prefer Lagunitas and Heretic. Ive also recently been turned on to Jameson and pickle juice.
My favorite drinks 1. Coconut juice straight from the coconut. 2. Hibiscus Tea 3. Pomegranate juice straight from the pomegranate. Foods to eat to reduce stress 1. Celery reduces blood pressure 2. Spinach 3. Sweet Potatoes 4. Avocados 5. White Beans Activities to reduce blood pressure and stress 1. Soak your feet in hot water for a half an hour every day(bathtub preferably) 2. Sex is great for this. (During the activity there will be a slight rise in blood pressure) 3. Meditate for a half an hour every day. 4. Cardio activity for a half an hour 5. Laugh as much as you can. (I make fun of everyone including myself) 6. *** SLEEP *** 7-8 hours a night. Most important activity Foods and drinks to avoid that will raise blood pressure and stress levels. 1. Refined sugar 2. Ketchup 3. Salt 4. Coffee 5. Alcohol 6. Tobacco 7. Processed meats and foods 8. Refined White Flour Vitamins to decrease stress 1. B12 <-----
Water for me, mostly. If I feel like getting fancy, I might go for some a nice green tea... which is still essentially water anyway, I suppose. I like black teas as well but not so much for relaxing.
