Fire Amp BG

I'm hoping to build a fire BG soon (probably once Poxbox is back), and I'm just interested to know what people are running post-revamp.

Anyone care to share their BG or give me some suggestions?

Ab. Fiend - Multi 2, amp
Ash Maiden - Fire Aura 3, Fire Eater (Aura 1 is also acceptable)
D. Lich - Cleansing Flame, Fire Eater
E. Wasp - Nova 3, Evasive 1 (Nova 1 is also acceptable)
Giant - Colossal, Tough 2
Dirtbag - Stall, Impair Vision (or trail)
G. Thug - Bomb 3, Nova 1
Devourer - Amp, Flame Web
Slinger - FS 3, Burn 1
Nightmare - FS3, Init 2

Is Fire Eater always worth it over Fire Acolyte then?

 

Not really, I just tend to prefer it. It's really down to personal taste.

Sorry, one last thing - are you at all worried by the lack of Detection?

 

Not at all. I play the BG very aggressively, so stealth BGs don't really have a chance to become a problem before I'm at their shrine.
