"fixed" map rotation?

I can safely say I draw the map Kthir hill(both variations) almost twice as much as any other map.


Does anyone feel the same way?

I would go with burn, but having played and watching several games, those maps come out a LOT more than the others, it cannot be coincidence, even if it's not possible to determine the statistics with empirical observation.

Even putting baskit + kf hill as one map draws them significantly more than any other map

I like the graph but needs more samples.

 

It does lend some credence to perception but the sample size is far to small to be truly indicative of imbalance in the rng.

I'd originally planned on 8 sets but ran out of time yesterday. I just added another four players bringing the total to ten players (400 total games).
It's still a bit messy but I think you can safely say that FW and K'thir Hill have a higher probability of coming up, with another tier of maps that appear the way they would if the RNG was weighted evenly, and a third group that are consistently depressed. It's a bit of a shame because I really like nora glades and elemental plateau.

Yes, it could still use some more samples but this is already too much work for studying an engineered process.

 

Those are two safe observations with that amount of data.

Another two would be the two maps that show up the least.
