So, our Doomball is on the high end as far as Doomballs go. https://poxbase.com/search/Doombringer He doesn't exactly have stellar stats, and the DOOM ability is less useful for us than other factions. Of course, the real sandbag is Revel in Misery. Wowsa. 12 Nora for that? Yipes! I'm thinking he could do with swapping that out for Dread. (10 Nora) That would probably be even more thematic. Then maybe do a manual reduction of -2 or 3 Nora just due to the lessened utility of the Doom ability for us. Dropping the ball to a baseline cost of 88 or 89. He'd pick up a more useful ability, AND get a small price reduction. Who knows, maybe people would actually have a reason to run him (in a Dread Module). Besides, it's our boy Serkan that made them, so at the very least, we should be the one faction that wants to use them.
Just saying, I don't think that's how it works. Also, there's really no reason to run it. Even with dread unless you build a BG around Psy Warfare or something, Dead Fairy is superior.
Yeah, He definitely needs a lot of love before he'll be ran in any BG. My ideas were just meant to be conservative opening ideas, I'm hoping that some of the more veteran players will have some better ideas. I'd really love to use him.
He rlly needs a buff. Looks at IS doom ball. It's rad. Look at UD. Same thing look at ours..... trash yet again. But maybe they will buff it or give it a niche spot that would be rad
His combo has become Rabid/Revel in Misery which is pretty expensive. He could go a number of ways so I guess the real question is what does he need and where does he need to go?
revere: serkan? i think the dooms are pretty well hoarded if they are not rare, not many people i have talked to have them anyway.
I don't think it should matter if it's common or rare. If it's in the game, it should be playable, even if it's only in a niche role. I'd definitely like to see it lose the Revel in Misery in favor of something less expensive. It doesn't really have the durability or damage to merit a 90+ Nora price tag at this point.
IS Doomie is like a weird Dwarven King with range and extra crap. Our doomie could be more like a Lich King. He wouldn't need immortality, but perhaps a larger range, at a cost, in part at the cost of some of his abilities. I don't think he needs teleportation.... Oh who am I kidding. It'd be awesome if he had teleport 1 at least. Then he'd be a mini LK, as opposed to IS's mini DK. Like the old days.
