Gold transfer

Is gold getting transfered from SOE or only runes?

 

I'm assuming Gold is transferred.

Station Cash, however, will not be.

 

That is correct. Gold will transfer and station cash will stay on your SOE account.

 

It was confirmed to be transferred one of the many reasons i have been logging in daily to do daily bot runs.

Thanks for the confirmation! I forget, but will gold costs also be changing in the transition? (i.e., should we buy items with gold now, or later?)

 

Runes will no longer be available for gold but packs will be.
To get specific C/U/R/E runes now you will need to forge them by breaking down unused runes at a particular shard rate (5:1)
They have some rough numbers on the old pox forums as sharding rates will depend on the core/extended sets.

IF you can, of course. Although, has it been addressed anywhere how player-run stores like PB will be affected?

 

so packs will be the only thing u can buy with gold as well as tickets or will there be something else gold can be used on?(trying to see if i should spend my gold )

 

Tickets are still up in the air as far as if they can be purchased with gold or only owl points/moolah.
Tokens are up in the air as well.

Avatars are going to be gold-able.

 

I feel that packs/boxes being purchasable through gold is amazing will allow new players to be able to gain a sense of progression while playing. Tickets i feel should be a more rare commodity that can only be purchased with a RL currency.
