Haunting Grip

I call this bull/s.
No player is going to use 320 nora on those spells.
The only faction that is really hurted by haunting grips is SL, everyone else have no reason to talk specially IS when euan/talgar having magical atk.

 

I'm seeing "lol" but what I'm really hearing is "WAHHH, 18 SOURCES ISN'T ENOUGH, I WANT MOREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!".

 

He actually only needs 4 sources.

I think BumPyro is getting greedy again. He wants Draksar to have non-legendary ranged magic damage too, or something.

 

Haunting grips stacking spawns concern me and I think short lived is a good addition.

 

Well once grip is nerfed, Ill at least have room for Domi and Essence drain in my FF FW BGs, amirite?

 

Yup, once is nerfed, is shoeboxed, will stick with essence drain, doom and domi, until people cry for nerf and yobanchi falls under preasure again.

 

Woe is fw. Everyone hates us. We don't have anything at op. Our faction is the most worstest in every way possible abs any time anything gets nerf cried it's just because they hate us.

At the expense of the game no. But that's a problem with many ppl.

Really. Like seriously. The whole reason the #18sources pox meme exists IS because Gedden talked about having 18 sources as if it is a matter of sheer amount. It is not. Half those champions are hard to get legendary/limited rarity, the other half is really fragile and quite easy to get rid of by the rest of a FW player's deck and/or severely lacking in the damage department.
I have mentioned this in another thread, I will do so again here: 2x Negation Mage, 1x Serpentor Paradigm (gathering credits to test Prismatic Skywing), 1x Ravenspeaker and 1x Cancel Magic are not even nearly enough against FW. I use a meta-Dragon deck and if I need to dedicate even more slots than that towards countering just a fragment of one faction, I don't know what will become of my deck.

It is not about having MORE sources. It is about having them BETTER (as in better equipped for THIS task). Also, it is about toning down stuff that needs toning down.

 

All I remember is BurnPyro listing all the sources and counting them.
Did Gedden really say anything about numbers?
