Hi everyone! I'm LooseGoose, one of the Desert Owl Games programmers working on the PlayStation version of Pox! Feel free to ask my any questions and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities!
Pretty good so far. We're pretty excited here that we can actually talk a little bit about the game since the e3 announcement.
Will there be new maps created for Pox Nora in the future? Are you planning on balancing existing maps that have serious design flaws?
I'm not too sure about maps since most of what I've been doing here has been working on the new client. Anything design related is really more of @Sokolov 's domain.
As for the release date, Summer is the current plan, but things can always change You are correct, this is now my avatar.
Unlikely to see new maps, though some maps may continue to get reskinned as with Underdepths, etc. Some maps are generally tweaked with most releases based on player feedback. If you have any specific feedback on the current rotation (or the last, if you remember the maps), please post Map Feedback in this thread for consideration: http://forums.poxnora.com/index.php?threads/map-feedback.22860/ I believe Lost City is the only one in the current rotation that has a consensus on needing adjustment (which makes sense, since it's been out of the rotation for awhile and hasn't received any adjustment yet). There are some maps like the old Savage Tundra and Shattered Peaks maps with all the chasms that aren't likely to come back any time soon. We've tried to make them work but there are just too many issues with the base design of those ones.
Only until you get your own rune I vision a Strig in your future, but I am sure @Sokolov already has something in mind.
