Tried to leave Florida Monday and Tuesday, was not going to leave my Mom. My Mom is 65 and she did not want to leave what family she has left here. (Brothers and sisters.) Gas is out along the intern states, all flights are booked. Did not fly out, so now we have a wait it out. At this point I realize death by a category 5, or the aftermath of the hurricane is natural selection. I am not scared, I was given plenty of time to leave and realistically I chose this. I am at peace with this decision. I did successfully complete architecture school, I did get a job right out of school and even started working toward my license. I do not intend to die, nor will I give up at any point. This was my choice, I am dealing with it. Send nudes.
Good damn luck. You've probably already looked up what to do, but if any of this Bane Shift helps... https://www.theverge.com/2017/9/5/16255968/prepare-hurricane-irma-florida-stay-evacuate If you're in a building that can handle the winds, you probably have good odds of making it. If you have Twitter and Facebook accounts, use them -- authorities check that stuff, and it can improve your chances of getting rescued. Besides that, good goddamn luck, again.
What part of FL are you from? I'm headed back in like a week...if my house is still there. We still have to deal with Hurricane Jose right afterwards. I remember when Charlie ***** the entire state. It was pretty bad.
There are benefits in bunkering down with a firearm. Some people take advantage and loot houses like PUBG
