I think we're really romanticizing the design space era. Not that corpse didnt do well it was just easier with design space and no foresight.
TBH those were actually the fun days, there was an established meta and a set type of runes for each faction that people played.
He sold parts of the design space. I mean you can only Shrine Scry for so long before you get into trouble.
To be fair, Rev and I were around during most of Corpse's time. While he had the final say on balance, you can't blame him for everything. For example, if you hate Dreambox? That was all me.
Personally, I love Corpse. He's great to work with. When he asked me to join him at Molten Games, I did it before the company was even funded and I would do it again.
there was a schism and the funding got yoinked or similar unless you're insinuating crups had something to do with it, in which case i couldn't tell you. i doubt sok could, or would if he could. sok's too nice a guy for that, though he tries to hide it
