    X is used in tech lingo for "experience", probably because of the small number of X words in the english language and the vast number of E words.

    UX has been User Experience for quite a long time. You will see a lot of job postings for UI/UX designers if you search.

    NUX became a real term more recently when analytics started being more of a thing with games, and more people started paying attention to that portion of the game.
