i've updated my java to to 7whatever... turned off all my antivirus and firewall and the installer STILL returns the error about heap size too large... any work around? Wait for a later patch or what? Solved: What it was is that i edited my Environment Variables to force Java to work differently then intended to get Minecraft to run smoother
