Can anybody shed some light on the current meta state of K'thir. I have been out of the game for around 2 years -and never really played the meta since Heritage anyway- so I mostly stick to highly thematic decks and single player, so I'm a little behind the times. I'm just looking for a little guidance on the staples for a good K'thir deck these days. I know we have the revamp coming, that will change all that, but who knows when that will be?

Thanks for this info! I have started playing KF and currently trying to build a meta. I was not sure to add Fae Oracle in the bg. Can you please explain why to include her and what role she will be playing? Also what upgrades to go with?
She is 2x autoinclude. Early on she is more of a support rune helping to divert damage and stall with Serenade. But as the game wears on she is slowly snowballing through Adaptive, and you get big spell powerturns that she benefits from with Tempo. I say just play with her.. it should be immediately apparent why she is so good.

Having been kinda absent myself I was wondering what happened to Boa's, never see them anymore. Still look good to me - is it just a case of being slightly outclassed?
Don't worry. You can always buy her on ebay or another website where DoG will get 0% of the profit for creating you a rune that doesn't exist. Awesome business model.
Still good--especially on mid font maps where he can just sit, contest the font, and be a road block for your range. But between 2x2 and lethargic, he can be difficult to maneuver. He's probably seen in elf decks that make use of epochal oasis. For meta though, there are lots of very effective melee that compete: Garu Den Mother (100 hp of meat/110 w/ banner; capable of capturing 1 font and contesting another w/ pet); enforcer (bold/regen 3/aura/ranged attack/ap gen/global detect from damage); anaru (magic eater/detect pet/divert); ranger elite (ranged attack; knockout; faster); dugon; experimental warspirit; and none of them have the lethargic drawback.
Honestly, I made a deck where I just spam Garu Den Mother, Queen Anaru, and Vashal Ranger. Once I have some of them out, I bring out Menalaus. The deck is doing pretty well.
Ok, so I will try to get on Fae Oracle. Meanwhile, another question: If I run Menalaus, I should always run him with covenant? Or should I run him without it?
Most people run menalaus with it, because it's +1 range, +10 hp and blessed for 10 nora, which is a good return for the nora and also protects mena from negative equipments.

DF3 can be game winning, and then you get a lot of additional utility out of invigorating your high value champs (Menalaus, Skirmisher especially benefit). And you get consistent heals from her.
