VS Malphite absolutely 100% ring. In general VS melees I'd have to take a look at each matchup specifically but I think you always go ring. Flask is very situational even VS ranged champs. It's used widely for the tiers below plat-dia who have trouble lasthitting in the 90th percentile (and therefore regening mana with d ring)/trading effectively. e: And keep in mind I have no experience as to what happens below Diamond MMR, so what I say might not apply there.

I'm actually from Europe but I play NA because my friends play there and people on EU are generally tryhards.
I cant handle the ping on NA being from Europe myself. I wanted to make a smurf on there and rank it up so i could join fabbbyyy in guarding the gates. But the ping is real.
