With the recent changes and patch,can liches be run as a viable bg? If not,what kind of changes/buffs would you like for them?
Well, it would be cool to make servitors proc from splitheroes and leverage to proc for lichborn/apprentice, but aside of that I don't see anything wrong with 'em.
Nope. Liches need to lost draining aura off everything that has it. Then they need dark Knight to be a Lich in stage 1, and need a cheap frontline tank.
Draining aura is overcost at 6 nora... it should either go to 4 nora or the drain go to 3 life. In either case though draining aura is more of a vampire ability and not really a lich ability since the majority of them are ranged at the moment. They also don't have much cohesion other then a smattering of surge (not very good now that illusions don't count), some support units that don't mesh well since they are not liches themselves and thus counteract the surge, and in general don't have anything tying them together.

I don't get why you think they suck. Let's list what they have: global regen 3 surge and vengeful to pump damage apprentice to pump max hp (very rare ability) leverage/soulsift/soulcollection/deadeater to pump nora possible +2 range, which gets serkan to 8, czars to 6, and any melee to 3 shielded magic immune lifesiphoning melee dirt cheap sidefont-capper with init commander/invig/other utility synergies with almost all other themes Most themes don't even have half of it.
