Gotta use it proactively though, and nothing stops them from just shattering/deploy equipping/whatever else.

well, despite either not having efficient access to shatter (zombies, skeezick, etc) or not having the nora to deploy equip.

 

It's not that simple to shatter an equipment you need 3 ap and you have to wait 3 rounds between each shatter vs an AOE spell. by the time you dis-equip all the champs assuming they are using an AoE spell semi effectively the spell will be off cooldown or 2 rounds off. I'm not saying the spell is OP but dis-equipping isn't easy

 

AoE shatter works best against it such as snatch.

 

Is this a thing? I know SL has magnetize but that will do your champion damage if you actually plan on getting rid of all the equips. Unless you opponent is positioned bad enough for all your champs to leave the ensnared aoe and position around his champ.

Shatter isn't AoE. Snatch isn't present in 2 out of 8 factions and only makes an appearance once in 4 out of the 6 factions it does appear in.

I think you are right, it used to be AoE, so was Disarm (IS spell)

Which also means SP FW FS KF IS UD all have a way of AoE shatter.
SL has Magnetize
ST has Rebound
FS has Corrode

So, all faction have AoE shatter

I already checked poxbase which is where I got my information if you bothered to read my post and then read the poxbase link you recommended(this probably comes off as hostile but at least assume I did some research or know something). If every faction has even the smallest amount of possible counters to stop something (be it an unrunnable spell or ability that is on unrunnable champs) does that make the thing its countering reasonable? no. I'm just playing devil's advocate btw.

It doesn't make countering reasonable, but I do not recall I've said so.

I was simply informing the OP about what other AoE shatter there is in this game.

I guess I could run corrode. I just hate the fact that I have to run something in my deck I don't want to because AOE spells exist. I mean, I always try to run at least a shatter champion but not a spell. I guess corrode is auto.
