I want a k'thir based BG; what are some of the top picks at this time. I don't want an incredibly complicated deck, and I tend to like to stick to themes as opposed to mix/match. I can afford most any runes, so it doesn't have to be budget! Thanks in advance for your opinions and help!
I'm really enjoying my vegetation deck at the moment. But if you want a more serious themed deck I suggest Wizards/Amp Magic.
Here are the runes in order: Ambling Frond Elven Treecaller Falconer Forest Lerper Mother of Frond Queen Anaru Spikewood Abomination Forest Dragon Thirion Wild Elf Winged Lerper Woodchuck Brambles Fan Faire Grimlic's Bane Naturalize Reclaim Spontaneous Growth Thorn Collection Cleansing Emerald Grmlic's Eye Pride of K'thir Horn of Order Hunter's Charm
Spikewood may not look great on paper but with Damage Shield: 3, Entangling Attack, and Domain: Vegetation he can be worth his cost for a side font battle. And with Take Root activated he will put up a good fight. Not to mention Seed of Potential is not such a bad equip. Winged Lerper has Detection and is a good harasser with Hidden: Vegetation. I run him with Rend 3 so his damage will add up. Granted I get one when I deploy Queen Anaru, but at 61 nora I'd say he's worth it. I run Treecaller because of Forest Front and Cleanse mostly. And when transformed she can put out some good damage as well.
I don't mind her, but I find that whenever I deploy her she doesn't really pay for herself. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.
Here is another decent deck built around Nature's Connections. Champs (Upgrades) 1 x Dragonbark Protector (Sapping Armor, Nature's Connections) 1 x Dryad (Heal Champion 3, Trail Vegetation) 2 x Elven Tender (Grant Stoneskin Potion, Heal Mass 3 2 x Forest Giant (Resist Physical 3, Power Attack 3) 1 x Menalaus (Weary, Nature's Connections) 2 x Naria Strangler (Entangling Attack, Scrapper) 2 x Skyshear Pegasus (Initiative 2, Charm 2) 1 x Spikewood Abomination (Damage Shield Physical 3, Nature's Connections) 1 x Thirion (Plant Regeneration 3, Magic Blast) 1 x Willowwind (Cleansing Aura, Nature's Balance) 1 x Woodchuck (Domain Vegetation, Jungle Front) Spells 1 x Brambles 1 x Devolve 1 x Inhibit Power 1 x Naturalize 2 x Nature's Wrath 1 x Reclaim Equips 1 x Burning Oak Seed 1 x Horn of Order 1 x Hunter's Charm 1 x Withering Fern Relics 1 x Catharsis Bloom 1 x Pride of K'thir 1 x Cleansing Emerald 1 x Grimlic's Eye Strategy This is an easy build to operate. You have six tanks: Giants, Pegusi, and Stranglers. Run range (Mena, Tenders, Thirion) behind your tanks, and heal them up when needed. A Pegasus can take a side font well enough. You have a couple of specials a Woodchuck can help with Terrain modifications and a Dragonbark can benefit with tanking and healing.
she is a little bit tricky, on 1 side you want to take advantage of all those summons she'll spit out, on the other she's got one of the most efficient stat lines in the plant race lineup. kinda difficult to know what to do
I love how more than half of the threads of KF forums are all probably about decks, and you can just link between them to where you put your stuff. EDIT the other half are just people trying to get runes changed, lol.
Yes. This has pretty much always been true, it at least is lore friendly, as IS also shares that history with us, though they seem to get more love than us, which is also fitting of the lore. WE ARE FORSAKEN. (hehe, get it? cause, cause we're FW, and... I'll stop talking now).
