Fort or is a bit inland iirc. Never had a reason to go there. On the coats it was p much 60-85 year around and you could drive up high and get snow from the mnt for a ways into the summer. Snowman in July was great.
Fort Ord was torn down and sold. Sad panda. Monterey, CA is one heck of a beautiful place! I hope u guys have a great time in southern Cali.
My wife and I just went recently and got in for free because we know someone who works there, and she let us touch some baby jellyfish. They breed hundreds/thousands of these things (they don't live very long).
