So I was reading the thread where markoth made a 1000 shard bg to simulate free2play or some such and I thought well that's a good thing for new players to have a competitive but accessible bg. Too bad he only made one for IS. So I think people should make a 1000 shard bgs in a faction of their choice and post it somewhere, so new players will have a bg to play that doesn't feel too gimped. After all, new player retention is critical to Pox.
I'll play. Guess this could be moved to the appropriate place. 932 shard Salaman BG https://poxbase.com/deck/C5NCxQcatcqYCtFcwGCjTC3XCjUr2Lr1trhrNr3ir2He3oE3Oe2wEYe1We23e3q
Skeezicks: https://poxbase.com/deck/C4NCw5C4UC41c4Lc1dc9iCiJcauc4+S6Ls6ws5hs84S26s2-s24R37rPe3YE1O Under 800 shards excluding warbanner. You could add db or quickening, but I prefer working with 2x march and other spells/equip for powerturns.
Just barely under 1000 (986) highlander elf bg. Plenty of room to play around with cost if you remove the warbanner (and don't stick to highlander.) https://poxbase.com/deck/cqmchxcJc5...w1cxjctus5s7s6Ps1as4Ks6gr2Yr+r3frUe2Fe2ue3IeM
I have a UD deck I will post when I have access to my computer (ipads useless) that I forgot to post in the thread. Its hella cheap.
Are quickening/db too costy due to being rares? Cause they hella staple, if you stay under 1000 its way better imo
I find them to be a dead rune slot in many games, especially in skeez March usually fulfills the role of spot ap gen, and there is rarely time where I have Nora for db but not March + something else. I am sure that db would win some games which were lost without it, but the times where it did absolutely nothing but take up a spot make it a fair trade. That being said, you played 3-4x amount of my games so you're most likely right
