With manic, my boltcase walked off into a chasm to get to an enemy. This was in a skirmish. I don't know for sure whether or not this is WAI, but considering you guys have already made it so that enemies can't throw you into chasms, does it really make sense to make us players have to calculate how manic will move toward the enemy if it could cause our own unit to do the same thing to itself, with no work from the enemy? Thanks for any assistance, Drake.
Well, I can't really watch my step unless I know exactly how manic moves the champ. i suppose I just have to not play grounded manic champs anywhere on maps with a lot of chasms?
Manic follows a specific pattern. You can find more information here: http://forums.poxnora.com/index.php?threads/poxnora-game-rules-documents-update-2-1-and-1-3.16096/ . Check the Complete Rules, section 4, on Abnormal Movement.
I still don't think it should be done like that though... New players will be easily turned off if they have to read a rule book that huge to be any good at the game. And PS4 players may not even think to read the forums
Yup, it's a problem, and has been brought up plenty. For this though, at least it isn't a bug, and now you know.
